As moms in business we all have limited time and limited money. We need our business efforts to make the biggest possible impact, and our advertising dollars to result in sales. We need a high return on our investment of time and money.
That's why for this week's challenge I want you to define your target market. Your product or information is most likely to resonate with your target market. You want to streamline your efforts toward that audience, but first you need to know who they are!
Take some time and listen to Episode 49 where I walk you through some steps on how to define your target market. Then actually set some time aside, sit down with pen and paper, and start brainstorming and researching. Don't just casually hypothesize about your target market in the shower, but commit your thoughts to paper and describe who this person might be, every detail you can think of.
Many experts recommended creating a persona around your target market. How do they feel? What is important to them? What do they do for fun? What is in their purse? What is their personality like? What are their dreams or goals? The list could go on.
Let's share our target market personas with each other this week. That should be fun!

P.S. Update us on your progress on last week's challenge here!
Update:
Beth Anne and I were actually in the same part of the country this week, so we were able to shoot an update video together. (We shot the video after putting pen to paper first!) Listen to how we define our target market. What do you think? Did we get it right? Would you add or subtract anything to our list?
