About Michele:
My family is full of love and compassion for others. We are a little quirky and love to laugh. We are each others biggest fan and encourager.
About Michele’s Business:
My business is sharing beautiful wreaths and helping others to turn their hobby into income. I sell ready made and custom made wreaths and I love to teach others how to do the same.
Why did you decide to become a mamaprenuer?
My husband told me that I was a very talented person and that I should branch out and share with others.
What is the greatest challenge you’ve experienced in your business?
Creating my website like I envisioned it in my mind. I am big dreamer and sometimes I get lost in the enormity of my dream and forget how time consuming it may be. I am not very patient.
How did you overcome that challenge?
I asked a lot of questions of others in Brilliant Business Moms. I Googled and taught myself a little code. Instead of continually tripping over my stumbling block, I took the initiative to learn and create something that I am very proud of.
What is your greatest win as a business owner?
I attended one of my area's largest craft shows. I hoped to sell a few wreaths. I took over 40. It was a 3 day event and I sold every wreath I had brought by the middle of day 2. I also received 4 custom orders at that event.
Describe your ‘day in the life’.
Alarm goes off at 6am. Coffee first (of course) then shower. I make sure that my son is up for school and out the door we go. I work Monday – Thursday from 7:30-5:30 as a counselor at our local college. Shhh! On slow days I work on my blog. At 5:30, I head home, make sure we have dinner, sit on the couch with computer (and the dogs) in my lap and work on my blog or website. On the weekends I make wreaths, do tutorials and Facebook Live.
What’s your great big dream for your business?
My great big dream is to be the go-to for everything wreaths and be a leader in teaching others how to make wreaths, how to start a craft business and to encourage others to be successful and live their big dream.

Use the Brilliant Life Planner. It has been a life saver for me. The planner helped me to define my goal, create the path to achieve, keep me on that path and keep me organized and focused. Each day is an ah-ha moment when I sit down with my planner and look over my day, my week or plan for what's ahead. It is a must have for any mamapreneur.
(Oh, THANK YOU Michele! We definitely didn't ask her to say this, you guys! But if you want to check out the planner Michele loves, click on over to our shop.)

My website was hacked and I had no back up. It was a nightmare. After calming myself from freaking out, I contacted a fellow blogger and she directed me to her brother that saved my site and my content. Now I back up EVERYTHING.
