About Sarah:
My 4 boys span kindergarten through 11th grade – we've got it all covered! We live on 2 acres in Pennsylvania with a crazy dog. Lord help me!
About Sarah’s Business:
I LOVE to encourage and inspire busy moms. Women come to my business for help simplifying their lives through decluttering and organizing. My latest venture is a cookbook that helps make dinnertime a whole lot easier for those busy days.
Why did you decide to become a mamaprenuer?
Because it's fun to sell things and help people at the same time! My most fulfilling jobs have all been creating things for my own business. I started my entrepreneurial journey with an online shop selling imported children's books written in German back in 2000. The internet is in my blood 🙂
What is the greatest challenge you’ve experienced in your business?
Single parenthood. Homeschooling and working was a close second.
How did you overcome that challenge?
Mainly through the grace of God and a lot of support. I'm still a work in progress 🙂
What is your greatest win as a business owner?
Publishing my first book, Step-by-Step Decluttering. I decided to write this book on a whim and gave myself 45 days to do it. It was a huge challenge and the response was tremendous. Learning that I have it in me to write books and produce more than the blog posts I had been doing was tremendously motivating!
Describe your ‘day in the life’.
Pack the kids off to school and sit down with a nice cup of coffee 🙂 Work like crazy until noon: I divide my time between writing, outlining videos, creating FB ads, and communicating with my team. In the afternoons I answer emails, jump on social media and work through a training course. Work wraps up around 3pm when the kids return and it's comfy chaos until soccer practice and dinnertime. We always wrap up with a bedtime story for the 2 younger boys. It's a good life!
What’s your great big dream for your business?
I want women to know that they're not alone. As mothers, it's easy to be overwhelmed with life, whether it's because of clutter or just trying to get dinner on the table. Women need to know that small steps can add up over time. They are stronger than they realize! Most of the time, change starts with a single, small step. I want to take this message to women on a big scale!
Every time I hear from a woman who's been encouraged by my work, it's a huge reward.

I accidentally sent an email to over 4000 people with the subject line unchanged from what ConvertKit supplied. It said “Enter an engaging subject line.” I almost died when I discovered this! Now I always double-check my subject lines 🙂
